How to stay focused and motivated

These pandemic days are sending shockwaves throughout the globe. We all are facing new challenges each day to tackle this situation. It seems more arduous as none of us was prepared for it.

Lately I realised, my motivation for work went off the track and I decided to overcome it. It took some time for me to figure out what all needs to be done and all those findings actually worked and that was when I realised I share it with others too.

Think through it

If you are feeling low, unfocused or inattentive, check on your routine.

· Note down each activity that diverts your mind and think of the solution to defeat it.

· At the end of day, analyse how much affective was your solution and how you can enhance it.

· Try to convert minimum of one negative to positive or at-least to neutral.

Create your own path

Create your own path to the world of happiness and dreams. Only you know how capable you are so don’t listen to those demotivate you. “There are two types of people who will tell you that you cannot make a difference in this world: those who are afraid to try and those who are afraid you will succeed.” — Ray Goforth. Have faith in you and give it all you’ve got. Even if you fail, you would learn and get one step closer to success. Count on these points to start a voyage :

· Don’t wait for right mood.

· Do one thing every day that scares you.

· Learn your lessons and move on.

· Ask yourself what you have learned today.

· Remember, everything you do makes a difference.

· If you want to achieve big thing, we have to allow small things to pass by.

Dreams don’t work unless you do

Dreams motivate you but discipline is what helps you keep going. Discipline is the bridge that connects you to success. You have to come out of your comfort zone to achieve your goals. “Who you are tomorrow begins with what you do today.” — Tim Fargo.

Make list of small and achievable goals as planning would help you supervise your progress. It is crucial to maintain the balance in life to deal with pressure. To do so, make a time table for yourself that you must follow. Every time you give up, you are going 10 steps back. For example if you snoozed your alarm, you gave in at very beginning of the day and this is what will reflect on your whole day. Instead if you wake up early and meditate or exercise, whole day you will feel happy about it and will follow your routine with much more dedication.

Giving up is never an option

You only loose when you give up. Fight with the overwhelming feeling of wanting to just give up and think what you would achieve if you succeed. Tell yourself that you might be giving up at the point where next step is success. Your fears may make you petrified but you have to be invigorated. It is your story. Either you can be protagonist and write your own story of success or you can always blame the situations and do nothing about it. “Winners never quit, and quitters never win.” ―Vince Lombardi
